About the Founders
Genie is a contributing editor to American Salon Magazine, an award-winning author, pioneer and leading emotional wellness expert, social entrepreneur, celebrity higher mind breath coach and keynote speaker. Ms O'Malley has been seen on TV, read in national magazines, and heard on radio networks across the country.
In 2001 Genie O'Malley moved to the United States from her native Australia to create a platform from which to deliver the revolutionary and life transforming techniques of breath and higher mind philosophy that she created while facing serious illness and depression.
This began with the foundation of Movement of the Heart (501c3) non-profit foundation, a corporation that inspires women to celebratethe miracle of healing and empowerment with breath; through education, services, and products, Movement of the Heart serves women who would otherwise be unable to experience the supreme power of breath due to conditions within their lives.
In 2006 Genie opened her first live breath studio (The Breathnazium), providing an environment where women and men could learn and experience her breath techniques in a group class environment. Participants discover self-acceptance, re-charge their depleted energy, balance their emotions, reconnect with life purpose and become re-energized for their work and lives.
In 2007 iBreatheLife began; providing those who are unable to attend a Breathnazium the ability to experience the higher mind breath from home and benefit from the techniques regardless of their location.
Based on her courage, vision, and dedication, Genie was named "Rising Star of 2004" by the New York Women's Agenda (NYWA), one of New York's most prominent civic-leader organizations. She was honored as a leader in business and in the community, and for being a steadfast model for other women.
